Lunch Box Idea 2

I try to hit a balance in the packed lunch with respect to the carbs, protein, fat, minerals & vitamins; I do so by keeping a watch on the items I pack collectively. There is one cereal as major portion rice or wheat usually, one pulse dish either dal or chole or rajma kinds or paneer or so; one seasonal fruit or veggie portion and a hydrating drink mostly buttermilk as TH sweats extensively round the year.

Lunch Box Idea 1

After a break again am back with some lunch box ideas…

I feel I am more disciplined in preparing balanced food when TH carries lunch to office than he’s at home. May be it is because of the routine time I’m struck to or that I fill something in each of his boxes or simply it is a mind set or habit; while on weekends we eat out, eat brunches, snack now & then and we don’t really have a full course meal unless we’ve guests or damn good appetite. So when it comes to lunch I vote for week days lunch, it is a simple, healthy and balanced diet.

In this series am just listing down the items packed and not recipes.
